Problem Statement
Parents face challenges when selecting schools for their children due to overwhelming information, varied educational philosophies, and diverse needs. This stressful, time-consuming process can cause anxiety about making the right choice, which impacts their children's academic and social development. Choosing the right school is crucial for a child’s educational experience and future opportunities, making effective resources and guidance essential.
Goals
The goals for School Scout are to simplify the school selection process by providing an intuitive platform that enhances decision-making through comprehensive and reliable data. The platform aims to reduce parental stress by offering clear, organized, and accessible information. It seeks to foster user engagement by creating a community where parents can share reviews and insights.

Design Process
Begin with discovery and research to understand user needs, define personas, and analyze the market. Move into ideation with brainstorming and sketching to generate solutions. Define the project through user stories, information architecture, and user flows. Design involves creating wireframes, prototypes, and detailed UI mockups, followed by usability testing and iteration based on feedback. Post-launch, continue with design refinements, beta testing, and ongoing improvements based on user feedback and analytics.
